Privacy Notice

Heat Health Inc. provides the Heat Health Calculator at heathealth.co. We determine the purposes and means of the processing described here, subject to any additional regional notice required by law.

For privacy questions, access or correction requests, consent withdrawal, deletion requests, or account closure, email info@heathealth.co. This inbox is monitored. You may also write to Heat Health Inc., 2131 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33020, USA.

All calculator users must register for an account. The service is for people who are at least 18 and legally able to agree to its terms. Registration requires your name, email address, birthdate, sex assigned at birth, height, weight, and country and state or equivalent administrative region. We do not ask for precise location or a street address as part of calculator registration.

Account information supports your account, eligibility, contact with you, location-specific administration, and the calculator’s profile-based functions. Session information consists of the entries you manually submit to the calculator and the results it generates. Saved entries, profile information, and results may reveal or support inferences about your health or behavior; calling the service educational or wellness-oriented does not make that information nonsensitive.

Information is entered manually. We do not connect wearables, import records from other services, or exchange calculator data with other Heat Health services. Do not submit another person’s data, medical records, payment information, or unrelated sensitive information.

Calculate without saving: Session entries and results are used to produce and display your calculation and then discarded. They do not enter saved history, research datasets, server analytics, session replay, or other retained session-content records. Your account profile remains stored separately. Unsaved does not mean that your account is anonymous.

Calculate and save: When you choose to save, we retain the submitted session entries and calculated results with your account and display them in your history. Saved information may be lawfully anonymized for the research described below. Saving does not itself supply any separate consent required by law or authorize identifiable research.

We also maintain your consent choices and the limited records necessary to administer requests, protect accounts, and meet applicable legal obligations. Such records must not contain discarded session entries or results. The technical collection and provider disclosures required for the live service must be consistent with these limits.

We process account and session information to provide the requested account and calculator functions, display results, maintain history you choose to save, respond to support and privacy requests, protect the service, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use your calculator data to make employment, insurance, credit, housing, or medical-treatment decisions about you.

Marketing is optional. Identifiable research and outside individual-record research sharing are not enabled by acceptance of the calculator terms. The anonymized-data uses described below are permitted only where their source processing is lawful. Any identifiable research requiring additional consent remains outside this agreement. The service requires only the processing that is lawfully necessary for its functions; this notice does not make an unnecessary data requirement lawful or replace any separately required explicit consent.

Heat Health may lawfully create genuinely anonymized data from account information and saved session entries and results, and may retain and use that anonymous data for current and future research, statistical analysis, evaluation of heat-exposure patterns, improvement of the calculator and related educational or wellness products, and scientific or educational publications. Heat Health may also share genuinely anonymous datasets and aggregate findings with researchers for these purposes, subject to safeguards against reidentification and unauthorized onward use. These activities may support commercial products.

“Genuinely anonymized” means that the information meets the applicable legal standard for anonymity in its intended use and disclosure, so that you cannot reasonably be identified or linked to it. Removing your name or replacing it with a code is not enough. Heat Health will not attempt to reidentify anonymous data and will require research recipients not to reidentify it or combine it with other information to identify people.

The original information remains protected personal information until effective anonymization is complete. Its collection and the anonymization process must be lawful, including any required additional permission. This agreement does not replace consent that the law requires separately. It does not authorize identifiable or coded research records to be shared with outside researchers or enable internal identifiable research unrelated to providing the service.

Unsaved session entries and results are discarded and are not used to create research datasets. Once information is genuinely anonymous and can no longer reasonably be linked to you, it may be retained for subsequent research and may not be possible to identify and remove your contribution. This does not restrict your rights over information that remains identifiable or coded.

If you opt in, Heat Health may email you educational content, product news, and promotional offers, including offers from sponsors. Heat Health is the sender. We do not give sponsors or advertisers your email address, a marketing list, calculator entries, profile, history, or research records for their own marketing. Sponsors do not send you emails under this permission. We do not target these offers using your heat-session data, Heat Health Units results, or health inferences.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in each marketing message or by emailing info@heathealth.co. We will act without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline, no later than 10 business days. Unsubscribing is free and does not prevent calculator use. We retain only the suppression information needed to honor that choice and lawful compliance. Necessary nonpromotional account, security, privacy, or deletion notices may continue.

Email delivery providers acting for Heat Health must follow the applicable contractual and privacy restrictions. Sponsor pixels, links, or campaign reports must not bypass the promise against advertiser disclosure. You can exercise applicable privacy rights or unsubscribe by contacting info@heathealth.co. Unsubscribing from marketing does not itself delete your account.

We retain account information and saved history while the account is active, unless you request earlier deletion or a shorter period is required by law. After 24 months without account activity, we will delete the inactive account and saved history after advance notice to your registered email address. The notice will state the deletion date and explain how to keep the account by signing in before that date.

Unsaved session entries and results are discarded after calculation. Consent and request records, suppression information, and information required for a specific legal obligation or dispute may be retained only for a justified period permitted by law, with restricted use. They are not a general exception allowing us to retain deleted history or resume research or marketing.

Deletion includes the steps applicable law requires for contracted providers, recipients, archives, and backups. Where an exception or staged backup deletion lawfully applies, we will explain it and prevent unrelated use. We do not promise immediate erasure from every system regardless of legal requirements.

You may contact info@heathealth.co to request access, correction, a copy of your information, deletion, or account closure; withdraw any separately granted consent or your marketing consent; and exercise other rights available where you live. Depending on applicable law, these may include portability, objection, restriction, or an appeal. You may complain to the relevant privacy regulator. We may require proportionate identity verification to protect your account.

Withdrawing consent stops future consent-based processing within the applicable legal requirements. It does not invalidate processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We will honor applicable deletion and downstream notification duties. Completed aggregate publications or genuinely deidentified information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you may not be retrievable for removal; that limitation does not apply automatically to coded or identifiable records.

Declining optional emails or any separately requested research consent does not remove calculator access. Closing your account prevents further use until a new eligible account is created. If you withdraw consent that is legally necessary for a requested function, we will explain which function can no longer be provided.

We must use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity and risks of the information and meet applicable security and breach-notification duties. No system is completely secure. This statement does not waive those duties or promise a particular certification, encryption architecture, or hosting location that has not been verified.

Service providers may process information only as lawfully authorized to support the service and the choices described here. This notice does not authorize undisclosed recipients, unrestricted overseas transfers, a sale of regulated consumer health data, or a new research purpose. Any required provider, transfer, and regional disclosures must be made before the relevant processing begins.

Material changes will be explained before they apply. New consent will be obtained where required. A revised notice cannot retroactively authorize processing outside an earlier valid permission.
